Starting Editing

To edit the Wiki, click the "edit" link at the top of any page, or to the top-right corner of any section on a page.

Updating or Adding Text

When you click on the edit link, a box will appear which allows you to see the current wiki code for the page, which is mostly made up of plain text, with some additional formatting codes added.

To change the page, edit what appears in this box and then click on the Show Preview button below the editing box, then check to see if it appears the way you wanted it. If the changes look fine, write a brief description of what you changed in the Summary field (such as "fixed typo" or "added additional information about antibiotics") and then click the Save page button. The changes will then be visible to the public.

Adding Paragraphs

To insert a paragraph, press Enter twice to leave a blank line, like below:

This is the first paragraph.

This is another paragraph.

Trying Out Editing

If you want to experiment with editing on the Wiki, please use the Sandbox page, which is just a junk page for testing.
